Is this a legal prize draw under UK law?

Yes. Under the Gambling Act 2005, Someonewillwin.co.uk provides a free to enter mechanic (every new user receives 40 free entries) and is thus considered a prize draw as opposed to an illegal lottery.

Is it free to join?

Yes. Register and we will provide you with TEN free entries in our FOUR prize draws.

I don't understand how this site works?

We have FOUR prize draws each with a different prize value - £1000, £10,000, £100,000 and £1,000,000.

When you register you receive TEN free entries into each prize draw.

You can generate additional entries by referring friends and participating with our advertisers offers. (Our advertisers award us a sales commission when you complete an offer which is used to fund the prize draw).

The more entries you have the better your chance of winning.

Simply review our advertiser's directory of over 2104 offers. This directory illustrates the number of competition entries you will receive for completing their offer. Before completing the advertisers offer we ask you to designate the entries earned into the prize draw of your choice.

Once the prize pot for each draw meets its payment threshold we automatically draw a winner.

Once a winner is drawn the pot resets to zero and starts to accumulate again for the next draw.

This all sounds too good to be true. You can't really give away all these cash prizes can you?

Why must I update my profile?

After joining we request that you update your profile to provide us with your full postal address and upload your photograph.

We insist you do this as we need to know where to mail winners cheques and our site automatically posts winners photographs on our 'winners page'.

As part of our terms and conditions we require an up to date profile for your prize draw entries to be valid.

How do I earn more entries?

You can earn entries by referring friends and participating with advertiser offers (many of our advertiser offers do NOT require any spend on your part).

I don't want to shop online - can I still earn more entries?

Yes, you can refer friends, participate in surveys, apply for financial products, take part in free trials, register to websites, use price comparison engines....as you can see there are lots of ways you can earn free entries and increase your chances of winning!

How do I know if I have won a prize draw?

If you win a draw you will be notified by email, your photograph will automatically appear on our winners page and we will mail you a cheque within 14 days.

How do I know when a prize draw will take place?

The prize draw takes place automatically once the prize pot reaches its payment threshold (£1,000, £10,000, £100,000 and £1,000,000 respectively).

You can view the current pot values from the member's home page. Don't forget as soon as a draw is made the pot resets and starts again, so especially with the £1000 pot you will notice regular fluctuations.

I have allocated entries to one prize pot but I've changed my mind and want to change the allocation, how do I do that?

We are sorry but once entries are allocated to a prize pot they cannot be changed.

My entries didn't win - can I use those entries for a forthcoming draw?

No. Entries are only valid for one draw.

But there's lots of ways for you to earn more entries for future draws.

I completed a transaction but the entries haven't yet been allocated to the draw?

Entries generated by advertising partners need to be validated by the advertising partner. Some advertisers take up to 30 days to validate your participation. As soon as the advertiser validates your entries they will be added to the current draw for your chosen pot.

How do I chase up missing entries?

If your advertiser sponsored entries do not appear on your 'my account' statement after 30 days then please use the helpdesk tab to report this to our support team who will liaise with the advertiser on your behalf.

If I win, will you use my picture on your website?

Yes, as part of our site conditions of use you agree to permit us to use your photograph on our website's winners page and for other publicity related purposes.

Hooray I won! When do I get my prize?

Congratulations! You will receive a confirmation email from us when you win and a cheque will be mailed to you within 14 days.
